We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats. This role requires expertise in security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and implementing security best practices across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analysis.
- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage security tools including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Investigate security alerts and conduct root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Support incident response, threat hunting, and forensic investigations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security awareness training and provide security recommendations.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and reports.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Security Operations.
- Strong understanding of network security, system security, and cloud security.
- Experience with:
- SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, etc.)
- EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne)
- Vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or SOC 2.
- Experience with incident response and threat analysis.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, IAM, and Zero Trust concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD security practices.
- Experience with penetration testing and security assessments.
- Industry certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CEH
- Security+
- CCSP
- GIAC
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
