Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, concrete work, and the operation of heavy equipment. This role involves working on diverse projects such as restoration, siding installation, and other improvement work, requiring attention to detail and safety. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks with precision and efficiency
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Install siding, perform carpentry tasks, and assist with woodworking projects as needed
- Conduct restoration work, including repair and reconstruction of existing structures
- Handle heavy lifting and material movement to support project workflows
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of siding installation, carpentry, woodworking, and welding is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Prior construction experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
