Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential assistance and support to individuals within the community, promoting their well-being, independence, and integration. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote mental health and well-being
- Help clients access community resources, healthcare services, and social activities
- Monitor clients’ progress and report any concerns or changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Support clients in developing life skills to foster independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client interactions
- Collaborate with team members, family members, and other service providers to coordinate care plans
- Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all clients during interactions

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good organizational skills for managing multiple client needs and documentation
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and client requirements
- Basic knowledge of community resources and social services is a plus
- Prior experience in social work, healthcare, or related fields is desirable but not required
