Sea-Can Containers Ltd is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial wood products, shipping containers, and metal fabrication. We are searching for a Sales Representative for Edmonton. The successful candidate will maximize sales within Edmonton and surrounding areas and will generate business from new and existing accounts. The individual will be primarily responsible for the development, servicing and maintenance of our customer account base and required to meet various sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with an emphasis in industrial, mechanical, wooden, and/or steel products.
You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our customers. Computer literacy is required. As part of Sea-Can Containers on-boarding training process, the successful candidate will be integrated into the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in the field making calls and maintain and develop develop close relationships with key decision makers among existing and new customers
- Develop and implement follow-up strategies for specific projects and ongoing basis
- Focus on consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while also providing accurate sales forecasting
- Communicate with customers by providing product information and project quotations, as well as coordinating customer service by building strong relationship between the customer and company
- Developing and servicing existing and new customers, to gain and sustain long term relationships between clients and the company
- Prepare sales forecasts, and review sales results with the Sales Manager on a monthly basis or as required/requested basis
- Territory planning, calls and route planning to maximize sales
- Identify, target and acquire new customer accounts
- Participate in special sales functions and trade shows as require/requested
- Remain current in company product information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
