Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor daily operations to maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control.
- Implement restaurant policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively.
- Conduct interviews for potential team members and participate in staff scheduling.
- Promote a positive team environment through leadership and effective communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles.
- Strong supervisory experience with team management skills.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, including hotel or barista experience is a plus.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
- Experience in interviewing potential employees and managing restaurant operations efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
