Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bakery Manager to lead our bakery operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily store functions, manage staff, ensure product quality, and deliver exceptional customer service. Duties
- Supervise daily bakery operations, including production, merchandising, and sales activities
- Manage and train bakery staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards
- Oversee inventory purchasing, stock levels, and product pricing to maximize profitability
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote bakery products and increase store traffic
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure cleanliness of the bakery environment
- Manage store merchandising to enhance visual appeal and product placement
- Conduct training & development of team members
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales goals
- Engage with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and foster loyalty
- Oversee budgeting processes to control costs while maintaining quality standards
- Skills
- Proven leadership with supervising experience in retail or food service environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate team members and engage customers effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies, and store management software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, payroll processing, and administrative tasks
- Customer service excellence with phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills
- Time management skills to ensure smooth daily operations and staff scheduling
