Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Special Finance Manager / Automotive Credit Advisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong sales background who excel at building trust, managing customer relationships, and guiding clients through important financial decisions.
The successful candidate will work with customers seeking vehicle financing solutions, assess their financial and credit situations, explain available options, and help them secure financing that supports both their transportation needs and long-term credit goals.
This position combines sales, customer service, financial education, and relationship management in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations with customers seeking vehicle financing and credit rebuilding solutions.
- Review and analyze customer credit reports, financial obligations, income, and affordability.
- Assess customer eligibility for financing programs and recommend suitable lending solutions.
- Educate customers on credit rebuilding strategies, vehicle financing options, and lender requirements.
- Assist clients who are currently in consumer proposals, have completed proposals, have experienced bankruptcy, or have faced other credit challenges.
- Clearly explain financing terms, approvals, program requirements, and vehicle options while addressing customer questions and concerns.
- Build trust and maintain strong relationships through professional communication and ongoing follow-up.
- Track and manage customer progress through the sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Coordinate with lenders, financial institutions, and internal team members to facilitate approvals and successful vehicle deliveries.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of customer interactions, financing applications, and approvals.
- Stay informed regarding lending guidelines, credit rebuilding strategies, consumer proposal considerations, and automotive financing best practices.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales and performance objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven success in sales, consultative selling, or customer relationship management.
- Valid OMVIC License required. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and able to successfully complete OMVIC certification as a condition of employment.
- Experience in automotive sales, special finance, lending, debt consulting, credit counselling, financial services, or a related industry is preferred but not necessary.
- Strong understanding of consumer proposals, bankruptcies, collections, and debt management principles.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and objection-handling skills.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working with CRM software and managing customer pipelines.
- Professional, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach when working with customers experiencing financial hardship.
- High level of motivation, urgency, accountability, and commitment to achieving results.

Pay: $60,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
