Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles, especially within hotels or similar settings, is highly valued. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet established standards of quality and safety
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Must be available weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team setting
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards contributes to success in this role
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
