Position Summary
GLIF Medical is seeking an experienced, professional, and client-focused Medical Aesthetician with strong expertise in advanced aesthetic technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, patient education, treatment planning, and delivering outstanding clinical results.
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience using:
- Ultraformer MPT (HIFU)
- CO2 Fractional Laser / CoolPeel
- Q-Switch Laser
- Hydrafacial or equivalent hydrodermabrasion technologies
- Microneedling
- PRP-assisted treatments
- Radiofrequency and skin tightening devices
Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Conduct professional skin assessments and consultations.
- Develop customized treatment plans aligned with patient goals.
- Educate patients on treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-treatment care.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient experience.
Clinical Treatments
Perform treatments including:
- Hydrafacial treatments
- Medical-grade facials
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- PRP facial treatments
- Laser skin rejuvenation
- Q-Switch laser treatments (pigmentation and tattoo removal)
- CO2 laser resurfacing
- Ultraformer MPT skin tightening and lifting treatments
- Skin health maintenance programs
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes.
- Follow all clinic protocols, infection prevention standards, and safety guidelines.
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are properly maintained and sanitized.
- Assist with inventory management and treatment supplies.
Business Development
- Build long-term patient relationships.
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans and skincare products.
- Participate in social media content creation when required.
- Assist during clinic events, open houses, and promotional campaigns.
QualificationsRequired
- Diploma in Medical Aesthetics or Esthetics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical aesthetics clinic.
- Strong knowledge of skin physiology and skin conditions.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
- Experience with Ultraformer MPT.
- Experience with CO2 Laser systems.
- Experience with Q-Switch Laser systems.
- Experience with Hydrafacial technologies.
- Experience in physician-led clinics.
- Sales and treatment plan conversion experience.
- Bilingual (English and French).
