Duties
- Perform various massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess client conditions and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on post-massage care and recommend additional wellness services when appropriate.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of massage areas and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while providing exceptional customer service throughout the client experience.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times.
