Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator. A valid 3rd class license would be considered an asset. The successful candidate will operate a variety of construction equipment (including loaders, skid steers, and mini-excavators) and be willing to assist with manual labour tasks on job sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks and towing trailers to transport equipment and materials
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and compact loaders
- Assist with physical labour tasks including grading, loading/unloading, and installation work
- Maintain equipment and perform basic daily inspections
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures on all job sites
- Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors
Requirements
- 5 years experience operating equipment
- 3 years experience in construction
- Experience operating construction or landscaping equipment
- Willingness to perform manual labour in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Previous landscaping or construction experience is an asset
