We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter with high standards of workmanship to join our team in our Elmira, Ontario facility.

Classification: Full-time, permanent
Compensation: $27.00-$35.00 per hour (overtime after 44 hours/week) + health care spending account + pension plan + eligibility for year-end bonus

Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Accurately read, analyze and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Prepare, assemble and weld pieces of metal and/or structures as per specifications
- Use and build various jigs to assemble components
- Operate various tools and equipment
- Work with sheet metal and perform structural fillet welding
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Recognize and understand weld symbols

What you bring
- Minimum 3 years’ welding experience
- Current CWB GMAW Flat ticket, or ability to achieve
- Skills in fitting and welding steel structures and sheet metal with strong understanding of welding techniques
- Competent with using bandsaw, drill press, ironworker, and various welders
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Capable of working under pressure and pushing through challenging rush part scenarios
- Strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
