Twin-City Interloc has been a trusted leader in commercial landscape construction in the Kitchener-Waterloo region for over 38 years. We are currently looking for motivated and hardworking Landscape Construction Labourers, Skilled Labourers and Foreman/Lead Hand to join our growing team.
Labourer:
What You’ll Do
- Provide labour support on a variety of landscape construction projects
- Assist with the construction of walkways, retaining walls, parks, plantings, and other landscape features
- Perform general site work including material handling, site cleanup, grading assistance, and ground preparation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment including quick-cut saws, packers, blowers, trimmers, wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes
- Work closely with the Site Foreman and crew to complete projects efficiently, safely, and on schedule
General Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspections, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
- Report equipment defects and ensure all tools and equipment remain in safe working condition
- Maintain clean trucks, tools, and job sites
- Complete timesheets and required documentation, including CVOR logs when applicable
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and training requirements
What You Bring
- Minimum 1 year of experience in landscape construction or a related construction environment
- Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license with clean abstract (Class AR or AZ is an asset)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
Skilled Labourer:
What You’ll Do
- Perform skilled labour on landscape construction projects including but not limited to topsoil placement, precast retaining walls, plantings and unit paving
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, and compactors
- Use hand and power tools including quick-cut saws, packers, and other construction tools
- Work closely with the Site Foreman to complete projects efficiently, on time, and within budget
- Assist with installation of paving stone, plantings, and other landscape features
General Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles and tow equipment when required
- Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Report defects and ensure all tools/equipment are in safe working condition
- Maintain clean trucks, tools, and job sites
- Complete timesheets and required documentation (including CVOR logs)
- Follow all company health and safety policies and training requirements
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of landscape construction experience
- Experience operating construction equipment
- Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license with clean abstract (Class AR or AZ is an asset)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
Foreman:
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and lead a crew of 2–5 employees
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and site plans
- Organize and manage daily site activities
- Work closely with the Project Manager / Supervisor to meet project timelines and expectations
- Oversee and participate in landscape construction work including but not limited to unit paving installation, precast retaining walls, topsoil placement, plantings, grading and general landscape construction
- Operate equipment such as: excavators / mini excavators, skid steers, sod cutters, laser levels
General Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles and tow equipment when required
- Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning and basic maintenance
- Ensure job sites remain safe, clean, and organized
- Complete timesheets, delivery tracking, and daily site records accurately (including CVOR logs)
- Maintain trucks, tools, and equipment and report required repairs
- Follow and enforce company health and safety policies and procedures
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in landscape construction
- Previous crew leadership, lead hand, or foreman experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable using smartphones
- Speak, read and write English
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s License with a clean abstract (Class AR or AZ is an asset)

Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work 45–55 hours per week during peak season
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and active job sites
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
