As the Assistant Manager, you understand the importance the leadership and strategic planning to our team, to grow our service culture, to maximized operations, and to improve guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work closely with the General Manager
- Supervising all colleagues under your direction, including Housekeeping and Front Desk departments
- Performing audit functions, to ensure the balance and control of the hotel's revenue
- Ensuring company policies and operation standards of the hotel are maintained at all times
- Assist with rooms revenue growth, such as average rates and occupancy
- Assist with sales management, including rooms and inventory management
- Providing excellent guest service, and maintaining professional employee relations
- Actively seeking feedback, and following up on guest comments
- Monitoring all areas of hotel operation, and following up the deficiencies with the related department heads accordingly
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous Hotel Supervisor experience in a lead or supervisory role, including a strong working knowledge of hotel operating systems
- Strong personal initiative with a desire to achieve results above expectations
- Good knowledge in revenue management
- Strong guest service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong leadership and team player skills and training skills
- Post-secondary education in Hotel Management is an asset
- Basic accounting experience is an asset
Pay and Benefits:
- The starting pay rate for the position is $24 - $27 per hour, and is dependent on experience and performance.
