Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for technology sales, and the ability to engage customers through product demonstrations and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities and experience in merchandising, POS systems, and retail sales are highly valued. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of various items
- Engage in active selling, upselling, and cross-selling to meet sales goals
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked
- Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product specifications and usage
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, in person, or through other communication channels with professionalism
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure a clean and welcoming store environment consistent with company standards
- Support inventory management and merchandising efforts as needed
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in technology or related fields
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities such as Spanish or other languages are a plus
- Experience with product demos, technical sales, or merchandising is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Demonstrated ability to upsell and provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging customers both in person and over the phone
