Job Overview
Seeking a Music and Piano Teacher to execute the following program:
- Ninety-two (92) one-on-one 10-minute piano lessons per week with children ages 2.5 to 5+ years.
- Four (4) 30- minute classroom music lessons per week for children ages 2.5 to 5+ years
- Two (2) 30-minute classroom music lessons per week for children ages 15 months to 2.5 years.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children. This role involves creating engaging lessons that foster a love for music while guiding students through their learning journey. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ artistic growth and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver the music program tailored to the Toddler Program (15 months to 2.5 years) and the Casa Program (2.5 years to 5+Years).
- Plan and deliver the piano program tailored to the Casa Program (2.5 years to 5+Years).
- Maintain records of the children's activities and progress.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss the student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in professional learning
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching music.
- Proven experience in piano instruction.
- Experience working with young children.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and educational best practices
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
