We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for opportunities to grow and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Perform monthly financial analysis and provide insights to management.
- Develop financial models, costing models, and scenario analyses to evaluate profitability and support decision-making.
- Maintain audit and tax working papers and supporting schedules.
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze financial and sales performance, identifying trends and variances against budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain financial, operational, and executive dashboards using Power BI.
- Improve financial processes and support system implementations to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare monthly HST and WSIB filings and monitor tax installments and payments.
- Maintain and enhance internal reporting to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience, or 2+ years in a Senior Financial Analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
