Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, professional independent drivers. This is a non-employment, contract-based position. We provide the fully maintained vehicle, fuel, and commercial cargo insurance. You provide the professional driving asset. You will be operating a 24ft–26ft straight dock-height box truck engineered and factory-certified to remain strictly under the 11,000 kg (26,000 lbs) Ontario Class G licensing threshold. Standard Class G license required in good standing. Applicants must submit a recent 3-Year ServiceOntario Driver Abstract with their application. Position pays a flat $200–$240 per completed full-day regional GTA route as an Independent Contractor.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24ft–26ft box truck on regional GTA route(standard hydraulic brakes, standard Class G weight limit)
- Perform mandatory daily pre-trip vehicle circle checks and log mechanical details to protect company CVOR compliance
- Secure cargo efficiently using straps to prevent shifting during transit.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence in good standing.
- Clean 3-Year Driver’s Abstract (must be submitted with application) .
- Prior experience driving cube vans, box trucks, or large commercial vehicles is highly preferred.
- Capable of handling physical cargo loading/unloading (where driver-touch is required).
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically move items safely
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws applicable to commercial vehicle
