Do you have a passion for aviation, excellent communication skills, and a knack for keeping things running smoothly? Cougar Helicopters is hiring a Flight Follower to support the coordination and tracking of our flight operations. In this essential role, you'll help ensure safe, efficient, and timely offshore flight activity from our heliport.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and coordinate daily flight activity based on real-time conditions
- Track aircraft movements and report irregularities using the Blue Sky system
- Maintain accurate flight info in internal systems, including FIDS
- Relay departure and arrival messages to downline stations
- Monitor destination weather and forward updates to crews enroute
- Support emergency response procedures and operational reporting
- Assist the Base Flight Operations Manager (BFOM) as needed
- Maintain updated offshore weather logs and schedule documentation
- Answer and redirect calls professionally to ensure prompt communication
What You Bring
- Restricted Aeronautical Radio License
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with radio communications, chat tools, and tracking systems
- 1+ year of aviation-related experience (preferred)
- Clean Code of Conduct
