About the role
We are looking for an experienced IT&E CPT Lead for our CMS 330 product who will lead the Integration & Test (I&T) efforts for the Portugal project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval Integration Test and Evaluation with demonstrated success.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop, implement, and maintain the overall CMS 330 product acceptance strategy and plan for the program, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.

Lead a multifaceted team of Integration & Test Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, software developers, and operational stakeholders, to define test requirements, develop test plans, and execute tests.

Oversee the execution of integration and system tests, ensuring timely completion, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage test resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to optimize I&T efficiency and effectiveness.

Identify, mitigate, and communicate I&T risks, ensuring proactive risk management and contingency planning.

Facilitate lessons learned and post-project reviews to drive process improvements and knowledge transfer.

Represent IT&E in project meetings, stakeholder communications, and technical presentations.

Management of embedded sub-contractors
What you bring to the role
- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Integration & Test for complex ship systems or similar large-scale engineering projects.

Proven track record of successfully leading I&T activities, demonstrating strong project management and leadership skills.

In-depth knowledge of Integration & Test principles and ship systems.

Proficiency in I&T planning, execution, and reporting using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Canadian citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
Additional skills desired for the role
- Experience with naval combat systems.

Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, NATO STANAG) and regulatory requirements.

Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
