Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grademan / Pipelayer to join our construction team. This role involves working on excavation, installation, and maintenance of pipelines and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience operating heavy equipment, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic construction environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in heavy equipment operation and pipeline installation to contribute to large-scale projects while developing their skills further.
Key Abilities
- Be able to operate laser level, theodolite and pipe laser
- Can shoot grades and set elevations and lines
- Proven experience in installation of mainline storm, sanitary and watermains.
- Experience in watermain tie-in operations
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Capable of working in all weather conditions, with potential for long work hours
- Possession of a valid Class 5 Drivers License
This position is vital for the successful completion of infrastructure projects requiring precise excavation, installation, and maintenance of pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of civil construction practices and demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a part of a diverse team.
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
