Pilates Instructor – Nova Fitness | Halifax, NS | Part-Time, Permanent
Nova Fitness has been serving clients in downtown Halifax for over five years. Locally owned and operated by Sylvia Peters and Steve Nemethy, we're a small, private training facility with a big passion for personalized fitness, rehabilitation, and wellness. We're growing our team and looking for 1–2 motivated Pilates Instructors who share our commitment to helping people become the best version of themselves.
What You'll Do
- Lead 1-on-1, partner, and small group Pilates sessions (reformer and mat)
- Conduct intro sessions with prospective clients and help generate leads
- Develop customized training programs tailored to individual client goals
- Create and deliver unique workshops and program offerings
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming training environment
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continued education
- Work evenings and weekends as required
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of in-person Pilates instruction experience
- Current Pilates certification (Reformer & Mat) required
- Personal Training certification preferred (CSEP CPT, CanFitPro, ACE, NSCA, or equivalent)
- Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Clear background check
- Positive, professional, motivating attitude with a growth mindset

- Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills
