Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our team.
This position involves working with generators, temporary power systems, electrical distribution equipment, and a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting in the field, and travelling out of town when required.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Work with generators, temporary power systems, distribution panels, transformers, cables, and related equipment
- Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Complete service reports, work orders, and required safety documentation accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other team members
- Follow company safety policies and applicable electrical codes and regulations
- Travel to customer and project locations, including out of town work and overnight stays when required
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician certification
- Red Seal certification is considered an asset
- Experience working with generators, temporary power, commercial, or industrial electrical systems is strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with an acceptable driver’s abstract
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organized, safety-focused, and committed to quality workmanship
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, and out of town when required
- CSTS, First Aid, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, or other safety certifications are considered assets

Pay: $40.00-$42.00 per hour
