Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Follow food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced setting is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on delivering excellent food service
