Available Positions: 2 Field Supervisors
Job Description
As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of field operations for workers, equipment operators and subcontractors under your direction. You have the ability to make decisions quickly, work under pressure and prioritize work effectively while maintaining a positive and professional relationship with clients and the workers.
Job Requirements (not limited to):
- Supervise heavy equipment operators, and labourers
- Coordinate and schedule activities
- Plan and manage project schedule
- Effectively delegate tasks to workers and subcontractors
- Coordinate and manage scheduling conflicts
- Anticipate client’s needs and identify short/long term solutions
- Maintaining the set schedule and complete critical tasks
- Supervise the foreman’s daily activities; ensuring their crews tasks are performed efficiently
- Ensure all company polices, safe work practices & procedures, and site-specific safety protocols are followed by workers
- Input and maintain daily records, including worker’s time, daily progress reports and safety documentation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager/superintendent/construction manager
- Effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and production
- Well-developed relationship building skills
- Good oral and written skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, energetic and reliable with a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
