Job description
We are looking for a reliable and friendly team member to join our family-owned restaurant.
This is an all-around restaurant position. Your primary responsibilities will include serving customers and providing friendly service, but you will also help with kitchen duties, cleaning, dishwashing, food preparation, restocking, and other tasks required to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable helping wherever needed and wants to be part of a small, hardworking team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take orders and serve food and beverages
- Operate the POS system and process payments
- Clear, clean and reset tables
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Restock supplies and organize work areas
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Maintain dining room and restaurant cleanliness
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help other team members as needed during busy periods
Who We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant, serving or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Comfortable performing both customer-facing and kitchen/cleaning duties
- Able to multitask during busy periods
- Willing to learn and help wherever needed
- Weekend availability
- Able to reliably commute to Newmarket for scheduled shifts
