Thursday, Friday, Saturday days. Thursday prep 10am-2pm, Friday/Saturday prep/service. This position takes care of cooking all proteins, and hot food cooked on the grill, flat top and pans. Brunch features served on Saturdays. Brunch experience a must. Possible Sunday shift available.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our growing kitchen team at Eastbound Brewing Company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your main station will be our fast-paced Grill station with room to learn all of the stations.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and cooking methods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A passion for meal preparation and creating exceptional dining experiences.
