Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have computer knowledge and the ability to work independently. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse distribution and logistics within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload and move materials safely and efficiently
- Order picking and packing to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Utilize Shopify system for inventory tracking and documentation
- Perform heavy lifting of materials (up to 50 pounds) and products in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in construction or maintenance tasks as needed for warehouse upkeep
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution preferred
- Proficiency with computers using Google, Excel, Word and Shopify (or similar platforms)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and packaging
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
