Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mexican cuisine Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with plating dishes and ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support other kitchen staff as needed, including serving and supporting front-of-house operations when required
- Adhere to health regulations and ensure compliance with sanitation standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for meal preparation and food handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on serving guests and supporting the overall restaurant operation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
