We're looking for an enthusiastic, relationship-focused

What You'll Do
As an Apprenticeship Specialist, you'll be the trusted resource for a portfolio of apprentices and employers, providing support from registration through certification. You'll also take ownership of a strategic portfolio that helps strengthen and grow our Group Sponsor Program.
Your work may include:
- Coaching and supporting apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey.
- Building strong relationships with employers and industry partners.
- Connecting apprentices with the resources they need to succeed.
- Leading initiatives in areas such as apprentice success, wrap-around supports, OYAP, events, employer engagement, assessments, government reporting, or other exciting projects.
- Collaborating with Skilled Trades Ontario, educational partners, and the Merit Ontario team to improve apprenticeship outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in apprenticeship, workforce development, employment services, education, human resources, program coordination, or a related field.
- A passion for helping people succeed.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities while providing exceptional service.
- Knowledge of Ontario's apprenticeship system is an asset.
- Comfortable with technology, including but not limited to Outlook, Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, AI, etc.

Working Conditions
- Hybrid work environment (3 days in the Mississauga office, 2 days remote)
- Monday to Friday with flexible working hours
- Occasional travel, evening, and weekend events
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation required
COMPENSATION
- Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 (based on experience)
- Full-time position
- Comprehensive benefit plan
- Vacation: 3 weeks
