Farmhand/Mechanic/Welder Wanted for Growing Grain Farm
We are a grain farm 25 minutes east of red deer and are looking for a motivated farmhand/mechanic/welder to join our team. No experience required – we are happy to train the right person who is eager to learn and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanically inclined, with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Physically fit, able to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Interest in learning to drive a manual vehicle.
- Experience with or a strong interest in learning how to operate farm equipment (e.g., tractors, combines, etc.).
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather (95% of winter work is indoors in a heated shop).
- Submit a criminal record check for review and approval.
