Part-Time Bookkeeper (Amazon E-commerce)

About Us
We are a growing e-commerce company that sells products through Amazon and other online marketplaces. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure our financial records are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile Amazon sales, fees, deposits, refunds, and other marketplace transactions.
- Post all income, expenses, and journal entries accurately in QuickBooks Online.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and issue invoices to wholesale and other business clients.
- Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices as needed.
- Record vendor bills and process payments.
- Prepare and file HST returns.
- Reconcile inventory-related transactions where applicable.
- Prepare bookkeeping records for month-end and year-end reporting.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Experience reconciling Amazon Seller Central transactions, including settlements, fees, refunds, and deposits.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and monthly reconciliations.
- Experience preparing and issuing invoices.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central and e-commerce businesses.
- Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Experience with HST filings and year-end preparation.
Hours
- Part-time, approximately 10–20 hours per week (flexible based on workload).
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
