Job Summary
The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will provide professional service to internal and external customers in both English and French. The successful candidate will have experience working within a product-based company and a strong understanding of order management, including order entry, shipment coordination, backorders, delivery timelines, invoicing, and customer account support.
Key Responsibilities
· Accurately enter and process customer orders, credit notes, and account updates.
· Review orders for accuracy, product availability, pricing, and delivery requirements.
· Prepare and verify invoices, shipping documentation, and bills of lading.
· Monitor urgent and high-priority orders to ensure timely and complete delivery.
· Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, shipments, backorders, shortages, and delivery timelines.
· Coordinate between customers, sales, logistics, warehousing, planning, production, credit, and other internal departments.
· Work with internal teams to create and manage backorders when required.
· Investigate short shipments, delivery concerns, billing discrepancies, and related customer issues.
· Coordinate with courier and transportation companies to support on-time delivery.
· Process large volumes of information accurately and efficiently.
· Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
· Provide customer service and order support in both English and French.
Qualifications
· Fully bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal.
· Minimum of one to two years of customer service, order management, or call-centre experience.
· Previous experience working for a product-based company, such as food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or retail products.
· Strong order-management experience is required.
· Experience entering and tracking customer orders from receipt through delivery.
· Previous experience with an ERP or order-management system; SAP experience is a strong asset.
· CRM experience is an asset.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills.
· Excellent communication, organization, accuracy, and follow-up abilities.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured, and fully on-site environment.
· Able to commute reliably to the Maple, Vaughan location.
· Legally entitled to work in Canada for the full duration of the assignment.
· Available to begin promptly and commit to the full three-to-five-month contract.
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
