Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical projects on construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing electrical crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality work on schedule. We're looking for a Foreman with drive to run a crew , take ownership of larger projects, and grow with us as we build something bigger.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a crew to complete jobs efficiently and safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and troubleshooting
- Take the lead on larger projects, freeing up our PM to focus on growing the business
- Coordinate with our project management team, GCs, and clients to hit deadlines and quality standards
- Manage materials and parts on your jobs- ordering, tracking, cost control, keeping crews stocked and moving
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, code compliance, and safety
- Use estimating and project management tools (we run Knowify) to help plan and track your jobs
- Mentor and train apprentices in technical skills and safety best practices
- Drive jobsite efficiency - tight scheduling, no wasted time, no wasted material
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in residential and commercial electrical work
- Proven ability to run a crew and keep a jobsite moving
- Strong grasp of BC Electrical Code and safe work practices
- Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Drive to work hard and take real ownership
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Fluent English, valid BC driver's license
- Based in or willing to relocate to Kamloops
