Job Details:
- Administrative Assistant for the Director of Mine Technical Department
- Full time position
- Health and dental benefits.
- Bussing from Fort McMurray (priority given to local Fort McMurray resident).
- Flights covered from Edmonton or Calgary- camp accommodations
- 4 Days on, 3 Days off, 10 hour days.
- Monday to Thursday.
Job Roles
- Working hand in hand with the department director
- Booking travel and camp accommodations for the whole department
- Maintain accurate tracking of all safety documents and safety programs
- Compile monthly costing reports
- Weekly auditing of various reports throughout the department
- Looking after expense reports for various managers
- help out other departments for vacation coverage
- Ensuring payroll is accurate as well as tracking vacation and sick time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to build charts and presentations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a desire for 100% accuracy
- Experience with OTL payroll processing is a bonus
- Data entry experience.
- Experience in one on one, group interactions, and presentation.
- Overall support for Management Team.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Solid organization and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently but with good judgement to seek support and guidance when appropriate.
- The ability to work well with a wide variety of people including office, field staff, diverse cultures and various work experience levels.
- Be a team player.
- Must bring a great attitude and desire to learn.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
