We are seeking a Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our team. This role combines estimating, project coordination, and field support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both office and site-based work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.
- Review tender documents and assist with bid preparation and submission.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Coordinate project procurement, material orders, and deliveries.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budget tracking.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including purchase orders and change orders.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and field crews to support successful project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits during the construction season to monitor progress and assist with project coordination.
- Identify and resolve project issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support project managers and company leadership throughout all phases of construction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of estimating, project coordination, or related construction experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing new software and technology.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation.
