Position
Transmission & Differential Technician / Helper
Responsibilities
- Remove and install heavy-duty truck transmissions and differentials
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, and assemble transmission and differential components
- Diagnose mechanical failures and identify worn or damaged parts
- Follow repair procedures and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a team
- Assist senior technicians with rebuilds and repairs
- Lift heavy components using proper shop equipment
QualificationsExperienced Technician
- Experience rebuilding heavy-duty manual or automatic transmissions
- Experience with differentials, transfer cases, or drivetrain repairs
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to work independently
Helper / Apprentice
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment is an asset
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- No transmission experience required—we will provide training to the right candidate.
