Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard in Nova Scotia.
Title: Security Guard
Location: Halifax, NS
Payrate: $19.31 per hour.
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking Security Guards to oversee security operations at our NS sites. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work the mentioned shift, and able to manage the job requirements. If you have experience as a security guard, enjoy patrolling, is swift in computers and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirement:

Six months of experience in a guard role in security.

Valid drivers license required.

Open shift availability.

Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.

Must have a valid Ontario Security License.

Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.

First Aid and CPR

Must be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
Responsibilities:

Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.

Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances.

Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.

Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned.

Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner.

Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
