Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Provide administrative support to management and staff as needed.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain organized records and files for easy retrieval of information.
- Assist in team management by coordinating schedules and facilitating communication among team members.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and maintaining communication.
- Process payroll accurately and on time while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and with Outlook is a requirement, familiarity with Jobber or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Familiarity with the plumbing and mechanical industry is preferred by not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and vendors.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with payroll processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
