Your role with us:
Reporting to the VP, Product Engineering, The Engineering Product Support Manager will lead the Engineering Product Support team and actively participate in the day-to-day operations to fulfill the team’s responsibilities, serving the needs of external and internal customers. The Engineering Product Support Manager is also a Responsible Member under Volant Oil Tools’ APEGA Permit to Practice.
You will bring to the role:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in resource management, mechanical design and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in leading and managing a team, with a high degree of accountability and outcomes focused.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree (or related degree with a strong mechanical component).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (PEng) in the province of Alberta is required.
- Experience creating and reviewing CAD documents for manufacturing.
- Oil and gas industry experience is preferred, with knowledge of drilling and completion activities.
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft suite.
- Experience using API standards (with a focus on API 8C, RP 5B, 5L, 5CT, 7-1, 7-2) is an asset.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and team-building skills.
