About Alta Quality Meats:
Alta Quality Meats is a wholesaler/distributor of quality meats to food service and retail sector in Calgary and surrounding areas. Equipped with a meat processing facility and reefer trucks, we are proud to supply custom cut quality meats to our customers in a timely manner. We’re growing — and we’re looking for a delivery driver to join our team and share in our commitment in providing efficient and timely delivery of meats to retailers and restaurants.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing daily orders and delivering them in one of our reefer vans, as well as receiving shipments and maintaining warehouse/coolers organized.
Expectations:
- Picking orders
- Writing and entering order receipt
- Receiving product
- Put shipments away
- Warehouse cleanup
- Assist production with packing orders
- Maintaining inventory
- Delivering orders
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge or previous experience in Meat or Foods is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Works effectively independently and in a team environment
- Valid Drivers License
- Q endorsement to drive an air brake truck is an asset
- Clean driving record
- Be able to lift up to 60+ pounds
