Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and uphold privacy standards
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
