Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-Time Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles, with strong communication skills and a focus on guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up breakfast items according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they have everything they need for an enjoyable breakfast experience.
- Monitor food levels throughout service and restock items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly labeled, and stored at appropriate temperatures.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Assist guests with special requests or dietary needs when possible.
- Handle guest feedback or complaints promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary.
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service, properly storing unused food items.
- Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and report shortages to management.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
