DHV Industries, Inc. (DHV Valve Canada) is a global supplier of high‑quality valve products, committed to safety, reliability, and technical excellence. As we continue to expand our operations in Nisku, we are seeking an experienced Valve Technician to support our growing modification and testing activities.
This role is ideal for a mechanically skilled individual with shop experience who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and contributing to a high‑performing shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Valve Assembly, Disassembly & Inspection
- Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and re‑assembly of valves following established procedures and safety standards.
- Assist with valve modifications and internal component adjustments as required.
- Identify defects, wear, and non‑conformances during inspection and report findings to senior technicians or supervisors.
Testing & Troubleshooting
- Operate pressure testing equipment to perform hydrostatic tests on valves and fittings in to work order procedures
- Troubleshoot issues related to assembly, testing, and equipment performance.
- Document test results and ensure all work meets quality and safety requirements.
Shop Operations & Material Handling
- Assist with organizing the shop area, tools, and equipment to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Follow all work orders, procedures, and production schedules.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Quality and Technical teams during inspections, testing, and issue resolution.
- Communicate job status, findings, and concerns clearly to supervisors and team members.
- Contribute to a positive, safe, and collaborative shop environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with industrial valves (ball, gate, globe, check, etc.) is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail with solid diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
- Able to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Good organizational and time‑management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation

Pay: $26.50-$32.50 per hour
