Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting techniques
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Support senior mechanics in disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling mechanical components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during all repair activities
- Document work performed, parts used, and maintenance records accurately
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs promptly and effectively
Experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools required for daily tasks
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with machinery maintenance or repair is a plus but not mandatory for helpers
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the team
