Veterinary Technician (Full-Time / Part-Time)
Peach City Animal Hospital is a growing small-animal hospital dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our expanding team as we offer a supportive workplace with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely handle, restrain, and care for animal patients
- Assist veterinarians with medical examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in patient condition
- Collect, prepare, and process laboratory samples
- Perform and assist with diagnostic procedures, including radiographs (X-rays)
- Administer treatments and medications as directed by veterinarians
- Educate clients regarding preventive healthcare, medications, nutrition, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Ensure treatment, surgical, and hospital areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Assist with reception and administrative duties when required
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, Animal Health Technology, or a related field
- New veterinary graduates are encouraged to apply
- Mentorship and support are available for candidates preparing for NAVLE, CPE, or other professional licensing examinations
- Previous experience in a small-animal practice is an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and handle animals and equipment, occasionally exceeding 25–30 kg
- Must be legally authorized to work in British Columbia, Canada
