The Opportunity
We are looking for a Landscaping & Irrigation Technicians to support our daily field operations and help deliver high-quality landscaping and irrigation projects. This is a hands-on labrourer role where you'll work directly alongside field crews, operate equipment, assist with trenching, and take part in both hardscaping and softscaping tasks, as well as irrigation system installation and maintenance.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring projects are completed on time, and safely, as we prepare for a busy summer season. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting with landscape construction, irrigation system installation, and general site labour
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as skid steers, trenchers, mini hoes, seeder, etc. (experience preferred)
- Prepping sites, installing piping and sprinkler systems, planting, and turf setup
- Assist in grading, planting, and turf preparation to complete landscaping projects
- Assist in setting up work areas, site preparation, and layout for landscaping and irrigation project
- Assist with hauling trailers and transporting equipment and materials when required
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations on job sites
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in commercial landscaping, construction or irrigation an asset
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping & irrigation equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required but preferred Class 3
- Physical endurance and ability to lift 50+ lbs
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to haul trailers safely and efficiently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a positive team environment
- Team Player and willing to assist where needed
Working Conditions
- Hands-on, physically demanding role that requires lifting, bending, and manual labour
- Exposure to outdoor conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind
- Travel to various sites to complete landscaping, irrigation instillation and cleanup tasks (using company vehicles and trailers)
- Monday to Friday schedule typically 6:00 am to 6:00 pm with occasional extended hours or weekend work based on project needs
