Overview
We’re hiring a Baker/ kitchen assistant to join our dynamic environment.
This position is ideal for someone organized, efficient, and passionate about fresh, handmade food.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including pretzels , bread, pastries, cakes, muffins, cookies and seasonal treats.
- Prepare grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, granola, lunch of the day
- Maintain par levels of all items required for the bakery / grab & go displays
- Assist with general kitchen prep tasks as needed
- Ensure proper storage of food items, following guidelines for food handling and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
