- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (“PDI”) with Homeowners on their newly completed Condo unit.
- Work in a collaborative manner with the Warranty Service Manager, Construction and Residential Property Management Teams in order to ensure a seamless Homeowner Customer experience.
- Meet and Greet Homeowners and explain the PDI process while conducting the PDI inspection.
- Input all PDI deficiencies into warranty software program.
- Ensure sign off with homeowner after PDI.
QUALIFICATIONS: To succeed, candidates must possess the following combination of education, experience and skills:
- 1+ years of work experience in the Residential Development and/or Construction industry or Customer Service industry
· Must have, 4 Step Worker Health and Safety, and WHMIS certificates (or willing to obtain)
· At least one year of hands-on work experience conducting warranty inspections for residential units (or desire/willingness to learn)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce/warranty software is highly desirable
- Post-secondary education
- Strong aptitude for working with homeowners/clients professionally
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and email
- Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, deadline driven team atmosphere
- A positive attitude with a strong focus on supporting team members towards achieving customer satisfaction
· Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
· Ability to work well individually or in a team setting, be professional
· Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Previous experience in the home construction service industry
· Knowledge of Tarion (new home warranty act) or willingness to learn
· Knowledge of construction processes
· Computer knowledge-previous experience with handheld computerized system
