We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of machinery and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing a wide range of mechanical and electrical skills to ensure vehicles and equipment are operating safely and efficiently. Candidates with dealership experience, mechanic background, or familiarity with heavy machinery are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment including cars, trucks, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy machinery.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs involving electrical systems, HVAC components, welding, and mechanical.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle .
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of mechanical components as needed for repair or maintenance projects.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients or supervisors.
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic.
- Skilled in electrical systems troubleshooting, HVAC repairs, and the use of schematics for diagnostics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment required for vehicle repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with good customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with automotive systems including electrical wiring diagrams and schematics is preferred. Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
